Ruapehu College is at the foot of Mt Ruapehu in one of the most beautiful regions of New Zealand. The mountains, rivers and lakes of the region make it an ideal base for outdoor pursuits. Summer days are warm and calm under clear blue skies. Winters are crisp and fresh with themountains covered in snow. The local volcanoes gurgle with life demonstrating from time to time that there is still energy in them.
